This facility opened May 2002 and includes a junior olympic swimming pool, 11 ft. diving well and separate wading pool with spray and waterfall features. The Aquatics Center offers swimming lessons, water aerobics and other activities.

Summer Swim Lessons - Program fees are $35.00 for residents & $45.00 for non-residents. Classes offered include: Parent & Child, Learn to Swim & Stroke Development. Call for details, 974-7946.

Lifeguard Courses - Classes are available at the Aquatics Center. Classes begin May 4. Cost is $125.00 per person. Call for complete details, 974-7946.
CPR Classes - This course teaches the basic lifesaving skills of CPR and First Aid. Course fee is $35.00 per participant. Call for complete details, 974-7946.
Water Aerobic Classes - (Offered April - October) Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. The cost is $2.00 per class. This class uses the resistance of the water to strengthen muscles by utilizing foam dumbbells, floatation belts and swim fins.
Surf Lifesaving Academy - Course is designed to teach skills needed to work on a surf beach as a Professional Lifeguard. Course will use the United States Lifesaving Association Manual. For information call the Aquatics Center at 974-7946 and ask for Melvin Sheperd. The course is typically held in the early spring. Cost is $175.00 per person.
